CITIE 2026 From October 14 to 16

The International Congress on Educational Technology and Innovation (CITIE 2026) invites researchers, educators, developers, instructional designers, educational policy makers, and STEAM professionals to submit original contributions presenting scientific advances, technological developments, innovation experiences, and case studies related to the use of emerging technologies for the transformation of education.

CITIE 2026 is an international forum where academic research, technological innovation, learning experience design, and the transfer of knowledge to society converge. The congress promotes an interdisciplinary approach that integrates artificial intelligence, interactive applications, virtual reality, quantum computing, learning analytics, and innovative pedagogies to address current and future challenges in education.

Track 1 — Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and Learning Analytics

This track addresses the use of advanced computational technologies to analyze, personalize, and optimize educational processes.

It includes, but is not limited to:

  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning in education

  • Intelligent tutoring systems and conversational agents

  • Learning Analytics and Educational Data Mining

  • Learning Catalytics

  • Adaptive and personalized systems

  • Quantum computing for educational simulation and optimization

  • Quantum Machine Learning applied to learning

  • Generative models, LLMs, and RAG in education

  • Automated assessment and intelligent feedback

  • Neurophysiological information processing (e.g., EEG, eye-tracking)

  • Predictive models (decision support systems) for assisted diagnostics

This track focuses on the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of technological solutions for learning.

Track 3 — Immersive Technologies for Education

This track brings together research and developments related to experiential learning through immersive technologies.

It includes:

  • Virtual and augmented reality in education

  • Simulators and virtual laboratories

  • Immersive serious games

  • Educational metaverses

  • Extended Reality (XR)

  • Professional training in virtual environments

Track 4 — Pedagogical Innovation and Learning Experience Design

This track integrates pedagogy and technology for the design of educational experiences.

It includes:

  • Project- and challenge-based learning

  • STEAM and maker education

  • Gamification and ludification

  • Interactive storytelling

  • Digital instructional design

  • Hybrid and flexible education

  • Technology-mediated formative assessment

Track 5 — Digital Education, Inclusion, and Social Development

This track addresses the role of technology as a tool to promote equity, inclusion, and social impact in education.

It includes:

  • Educational technology for rural contexts

  • Inclusive and accessible education

  • Disability and assistive technologies

  • Intercultural and bilingual education

  • Bridging the digital divide

  • Social impact of educational innovation

Publication

Accepted papers will be considered for publication in indexed proceedings volumes (Springer or other academic publishers, depending on the track and the quality of the work), subject to compliance with editorial standards and the peer-review process.
